As GEA conference 2019 is approaching, we wanted to build momentum and excitement through a series of brief blog posts called Countdown to Conference (C2C). We invite GEA members to contribute short posts (200-500 words) about any topic related to GEA conference (including, but not limited to):

• Tips and advice for making the most of conference
• What you’re looking forward to most about GEA conference
• What you’ll be presenting about at GEA conference
• Why you’ve decided to attend GEA conference
• Why we need GEA (given the current state of our political and social worlds)
